2009 – 2011 – Major renovations and restoration were undertaken during this time. The foundation was repaired, the main entrance was changed to remove the stairs and a lift was put in for accessibility, window upgrades were completed, the church roof and sanctuary ceiling were repaired, the heating system was upgraded and a new boiler was installed. The church hall was renovated with accessible bathrooms in both the hall and the sanctuary area.
Trinity is committed to always be evolving to be inclusive, accessible and affirming congregation.
On Sept. 1, 2017, Trinity United Church/Pastoral Charge called Christopher to serve as Minister of Word, Sacrament and Pastoral Care.
In July 2023 the sanctuary had a devesting ceiling collapse. We thank God no one was hurt when the ceiling fell. This made it impossible to hold our services in the sanctuary. Thanks to our quick-thinking team, we seamlessly moved all things Trinity into the Fellowship Hall. This proved to be a chance to be intimate with our fellow parishioners. Check out the video below to see all the work that was completed over the next many months stretching into 2024. We had our first service back in the Sanctuary on Sunday February 25, 2024. Wendy our music director, Cory our video guy and Patty our media editor, were happy to be back in the Sanctuary!
God of Blessing, be with us as we dedicate this Sacred Path. Send your Spirit to bless this labyrinth and all who encounter it. Sanctify this place of prayer and contemplation.

Christopher and Lorraine help shape the growing ministries of Social Justice and Outreach in many ways. We were sad, but happy to see them retire back to their beloved Nova Scotia roots. The final service with Trinity took place on July 28, 2024.
Who will be the next Minister in Trinity United’s Story…….Stay tuned!
